Jurassic Quest
Built the abandoned-checkout recovery system, SMS-compliance framework, and cross-platform revenue-attribution pipeline for North America’s largest touring dinosaur experience — a lifecycle system that adapts to a new city every few weeks — and stood up a new direct-to-consumer subscription product, Quest Club, from scratch.

THE MISSION
What this project set out to do.
Scope note first: the core deliverable is lifecycle marketing automation, not a website — so structured data, Core Web Vitals, and local SEO don’t apply here and aren’t claimed.
- Recover the checkout.A cart-recovery email/SMS sequence that adapts to a new city and venue every few weeks.
- Personalize per recipient.Dynamic, index-matched carts so each email shows the recipient’s actual tickets, city, and date.
- Stay compliant.TCPA/Texas-tuned SMS windows and CAN-SPAM-correct footers, built into the flow.
- Prove it works.A holdout-test design to measure true incremental lift — not just “the emails sent.”
- Launch a second product.Quest Club — a dinosaur-themed kids’ subscription box — stood up from scratch on Cratejoy.
THE POWERS WE DEPLOYED
The same lineup — pointed at a machine shop.
Two powers carried this one — lifecycle email and a from-scratch product launch. Each is a real service on this site.
Dr. DeliveryCustomer Email Newsletter A 3-email / 2-SMS abandoned-checkout recovery sequence in Klaviyo, wired to Universe.com through a GraphQL pipeline tracking 18+ tour dates live. Dynamic per-recipient carts (index-matched ticket names and prices), a computed discount surfaced three times, a branded T-Rex creative device, and CAN-SPAM / TCPA compliance built into the flow — plus a holdout test designed to prove real incremental lift.
Brand Man + AI ManHero Web Design Quest Club — a $44/month dinosaur subscription box — launched from zero: a custom 18-page Cratejoy storefront hand-built through a browser code editor (no deploy tooling on the account), a reusable brand-voice framework, and a 52-week educational content program behind the box.WHAT GOT BUILT
The numbers.
“Jurassic Quest is a massive experience with a lot happening behind the scenes, and Aaron has a knack for taking that complexity and turning it into marketing people instantly understand. He doesn’t just make things look good—he thinks about the customer journey, the data and what actually gets families to take action.”
