THE SYSTEM, EXPLAINED
What is actually happening.
Cloudflare documents static asset requests on Pages as free and unlimited. That makes it possible to serve a normal marketing website without attaching Aaron’s own bandwidth meter to every image, stylesheet or page view.
For the base managed website, ordinary repository-based assets are included without a separate storage tier. Traffic can grow, a campaign can spike and the customer does not receive a surprise invoice because more people loaded the brochure portion of the site.
Unlimited is a service promise, not a denial of physics. Cloudflare still publishes limits for projects, files, builds, functions and compute. Large video libraries, customer uploads, databases and data-heavy applications use products such as R2, D1 or another fit-for-purpose service and may create direct platform costs. Those architecture changes are discussed before deployment.
